Today I began reading ‘Beyond Cancer’s Scars’. Sweet mercy….I’m glad there are wide margins on the pages because God and I are working this thing out right there. I’m going to need more than one pen and highliter because I’m giving both a good workout. In day one, so much spoke to me, but nothing more than this….
“Whever a heart is depleted and emptied out, there’s room enough for a fresh planting of God.” Heavenly days….that is where I am and where I want to be….ripe for a fresh planting of God. Elaine, this book has purpose…kingdom purpose. thank you, dear friend.

I’ve been deeply immersed in preparing spreadsheets and cash flows and haven’t had time to read your book. It is, however, on the top of my table, next to my chair, and I’m looking forward to picking it up in the next week or two.
