two years of "peace"…

Just under the wire, and after eight hours worth of uploading (I’m just about to quit posting videos), I give you my greeting and my thanks for walking this blogging road with me for two years. That’s right… 24 months and 730 days worth of my life shared with you, in part, at my cyber address. Thank you for your faithfulness. You are why I’m here.

PS: Would love to know you’re here, even if you’ve never commented before. Click on the word “comment,” sign in as an “anonymous” contributor, add your thoughts, type in a jumble of letters if you’re prompted, and then hit publish! Enjoy your weekend, friends. Shalom.

  2. Happy Anniversary! I am fairly new to your blog but I sure am enjoying it! God is truly blessing us through you.

    until next time… nel

  3. Congratulations Elaine on 2 years of sharing Gods love with others through your "blog". You have been such a blessing to so many. I know I have throughly enjoyed every read. Keep on keeping on my friend! Blessings for your journey,

  4. I have so enjoyed this "walkabout" with you, Elaine. God infuses each step and work you take with abundant grace. I look forward to one day holding these WIP's in my hands – feeling those graces inked to pages bound with wisdom and love! Oh what a day that will be!

    Write on, my friend!
    In His Abundance and Grace,
    Denise

  5. Elaine, I know now why that video was so hard to load and presented so many problems. That message my friend was so annointed! The evil one did not want you to share and extend the invitation to a walkabout with the King of Kings. What a precious illustration. I am sitting here in tears!

Elaine, the Lord led me to your blog about a month after it's beginning and my life has been enriched by your words, but even greater blessed by your friendship. Your walkabout with the King has included footsteps by my side and my journey has been the better for your companionship. You truly are my dearest earthly friend and I thank the Lord continually for directing me to your blog two years ago.

Praying for you in a special way today. May the Lord continue to fill you with Himself and in that overflowing may you continue to walkabout, touching lives and calling others to a walk with the King.

You know I love you my friend,
    as always,
    Joy

  6. Psalm 48:12-14: WALK ABOUT Zion, go around her, number her towers…that you may tell the next generation that this is God, our God forever and ever. He will guide us forever."

Congratulations and Happy Anniversary, Elaine! May God bless your 35,000 words and 15,000 yet to be formed.

  7. Congratulations Elaine. Two years of sharing your heart! Keep on keeping on my friend.

    God Bless!

    Love ya,

    Lori

I look forward to your book. God bless you.
    Love, Sita

  9. Happy Anniversary! I don't remember exactly when I started–need to go back and check–but I'm sure it's been over 2 years. I have so much enjoyed your God-given ability to bless us through your writings. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your life.

  12. Elaine,
Congrats on two years!!! Your words, heart, transparency, passion and love have blessed me tremendously. I know this road has not always been easy, but God is using you here. Thank you for your faithfulness.

    Love you,
    Kelli

  13. So glad our paths have crossed on the 'walk about' home. God is faithful and always with us. This video was a blessing. Heb. 11 and Jer. 6 are both highlighted in what God is doing now in my journey. Thank you for your blog and devotion to Jesus. Did you see me raise my hand on seeing the movie? I did.
May God continue to open His word to your heart as you pen the last 15,000 words. His peace will continue to light the path for your journey forever. Keep writing and singing. It's beautiful and pleasing in His sight. B

  17. I am so glad I found your blog Elaine! What a joy it is to share with you here. I feel so many connections with your heart and your journey.

Praying for the last 15,000 words to wrap the book…

Loved this video! 'Walkabout'…it's a new word to me, but I sure won't forget it now.

    Keep 'em coming!

    Love,

    Sonja

  18. Wow. Congratulations.

I remember your early days well. Straightaway I liked your style (grammatically as well as "class"). Since then I've grown to love it better still, for truly you've added color & depth to the hues that comprise your heart. So lovely.

You were my own second visitor (after blogging for roughly 5 months with nary a bleep on the comments radar). That makes you a "founding member" of the Sassy Club!

    Huge hugs & much love,
    Kathleen

P.S. I'm so glad to hear of your trouble with downloading (or uploading). So far I've not mastered it unless I do it from YouTube and not from my blog site. Aargh!

  19. Happy blogiversary, Elaine! For some reason, all I'm seeing is a little red x where your video is supposed to be so I may try to catch it from your facebook link.

It's been a joy becoming friends with you via blogland and facebook. All the best in your writing ministry — and hugs to you, my friend!

  20. WOW…you know what I think? Your new study (and soon to be published book I hope) needs to be shared here in Missouri!! We are doing the study "Believing God"…just started it this week in our church. I am thinking your thoughts will follow beautifully after that…you up for a road trip?!?!? I'll send the other ministry leaders over here and we will be praying about this dear friend.

BTW…I am honored to have journeyed with you these past few years. I am not always here everytime you post but each time I am it is always just what God has needed me to read for that day. His power is demonstrated so much through your words. Thank you for being willing for His work!!

    I love you Elaine!

    In His Graces~Pamela

  21. I hear you, Melanie, and I hug you.

    And I pray with you.

  22. I sit here in conviction. I sit here in awe of how God is tugging at my heart to pen what He is speaking to my heart. What a blessing to view a message that is so encouraging. Praise the Lord!

    Praise the LORD!

    Love and prayers,
    Lisa

  30. Wow! I guess my bless-ed post was parallel with your message (to a small degree) I am very blessed to read your inspiring messages! Congrats on 2 years…

We will walk about with our "eggs in the basket" on the journey to the celestial city! 😉

  31. Well, I boohooed all the way through your video…seeing your face and listening to your message made me miss you all the more!

  34. Wow! You look fabulous! Congrats on 2 years of blogging. I have not even gotten through one year yet. But what God has done in me and through me through this little part of my world is overwhelmingly amazing. I am so glad to have come to know you this year Elaine. I am so looking forward to you getting your book to completion.

  35. My dear sweet friend. Congratulations on your two years of blessing my life. I am not sure how our paths crossed in blogland, but one thing about you that continues to bless me is your organic and authentic heart. That was two things. I want you to know how you bless me and I love you. elizabeth

  36. Happy 2nd blogging anniversary. I was blessed by your presentation and much more as I read the words that come from a heart that is panting and yearning after its maker. In His time, I know your works will be published. Meanwhile, remain faithful at what God had given you for now.

    Your journeying friend,

    Gladwell

  37. Blesings to you, Elaine! Congrats on 2 years of blogging. I know that many have been blessed through your words… I certainly have.

  42. If you keep doing these videos, you may have to change your name to B. Moore.

Wonder how Billy will feel about that.

    Love you.

    Sweet dreams.

  43. Happy Anniversary. I love your blog and your words that are a treasure to the heart.

May the journey continue to be blessed.

  44. Dear Elaine,
Happy Anniversary to you! I can't tell you how grateful I am that God crossed my path with yours not too far into your blogging journey. It's been an incredible thing to be on this "walkabout" with you. The faith lessons God has allowed me to learn from you are precious treasures. I pray one day (this side of heaven) I can meet you personally. I love you and your annointed heart! Excitedly continuing to uphold you in prayer as you work through the book…
    Much love,
    Tracy

  45. Dear Elaine,

I was wondering how long we have been following each other, so I checked my e-mails and found it! On April 27, 2008 you found me via "Kentucky Bound" because the title of my post was "Can You Come Down From The Mountain?" You were an encouragement then… and you still are.

I consider you to be my bloggy mentor. I have been able to come to you in the quietness of e-mail and bare my heart to you in regards to situations that I must keep silent to others. And despite your other sheep needing you as much as I do… you have taken time out of your life to love on me.

I am so grateful to have your presence in my life. I consider you a blessing. I know there have been times when it would have made sense possibly to pull out of the blogging world for a little while, but you have been consistent when others have not been…

May God bless you today… and forever.

    Much Love,
    Sheri

  46. Look at all these comments. WHEW! We tune in to your blog and videos!

    Happy Blogaversary!

    Blessings from HIM!

    Sheryl

  47. Awesome bencmark, Elaine!
I've joined you late, but the journey so far, is peaceful. God has gifted you with much wisdom and pizazz! ( I also watched the journey to meet Katie G from Tennessee – The video shows your sense of adventure and humorous good nature)

It was great to see you on both videos – rather than just read you 🙂 I feel more aquainted!

Thanks for sharing your wisdom here and congratulations to the anniversary of God's good work through you. Prayers for the walkabout journey of faith project (book). May it open hearts and minds to the possibilities of an enlarged territory through simple faith in a great Big God.

    Peace

  48. I'm going to visit this post so many times Elaine!!! Love the message. Did I tell you I rented that movie on the weekend? We watched it Saturday night.

I'm so wishing my "walkabout" right now would include a trip South. I can't describe the longing I have to see you. I so appreciate our contact over computer and phone…but I want a girls weekend with you!!! (Week?) 🙂

Some day we'll be on a forever "walkabout" together with our Lord for all eternity! Can you just imagine….

    Hugs,
    Joy

  49. Well, where do I start?

First of all, I'm so thankful we have connected on the bloggy world. And second, I am so excited to know you are writing about faith.

And there were many God moments for me watching your video. One being the verse you quoted. God used it in my life within the last month. And second, I watched that movie just a couple weeks ago. So it was a fresh word and I loved it. And last, I am reading Believing God by Beth Moore right now, years after doing that study, and the whole idea of faith is where I am at. All this to say, I loved your video, your heart and this journey. I can't wait to see what God does next.

I'm believing for more opportunities for you, friend.

Until then, peace on walkabout, peace!

  50. I get so excited when you post videos. I just love seeing you teach, hearing your voice and getting to know you more.

Walkabout. May I be faithful in mine.

  51. Oh girl…that is some good stuff!
And you look so good in your video! 🙂

Prayers and blessings as you keep putting pen to paper on this exciting journey of faith,
    Rebecca
